Dynamic & Innovative
We choose the right technology for the problem, not the comfortable one · and we ship.
A 45-person engineering and delivery firm in Brazzaville, founded in 2023, building national-scale technology for Central Africa.
Akieni was founded in 2023 with a single conviction: that Central Africa’s next decade depends on locally-built, internationally-credible digital infrastructure · and that the talent to build it is already here.
In two years we have grown to a 45-person team across Engineering, Delivery, Administration and HR, and shipped into production three of the country’s most critical platforms: SFEC for the Ministry of Finance, CAMU for universal health coverage, and CNSS for social security. Each was delivered to standards equal to anything you would find in Paris or Lagos · by a team that is 100% African, based on the banks of the Congo river.
Through innovative, high-impact technology solutions, we make Central African institutions as capable, transparent and effective as their global peers.
A regional firm trusted to design, build and operate the digital backbone of governments, regulators and operators · driving measurable economic value.
Tools, frameworks and clients change · these don’t. Every hire, every architecture review, every roadmap is filtered through them.
We choose the right technology for the problem, not the comfortable one · and we ship.
Every system we build is designed to run for a decade · not a demo cycle.
Software is the lever. People · clients, citizens, teammates · are the point.
A blunt, useful list · so clients, candidates, and partners know what to expect.
From founding to national-scale deployment · without losing the discipline that got us here.
